ICA Charitable Works

One of the three facets of the ICA is Charity, through which the community comes together and contributes to various charitable organization.

ICA Charitable Project 2015

St. Mary’s School, run by the Indian Missionary Society in the village of Rahargora, Jharkhand, India. The funds raised will be used to build five additional classrooms that will help provide the extremely poor, tribal children of the area with a good quality education up to the high school level. Currently, due to lack of classrooms and the absence of good schools in the area, these children are able to study only up to the fifth grade.

ICA Charitable Project 2014

Ishaprema-Niketan ("Home of God's Love") is run by dedicated Sisters of the Group called Ishaprema-Vinamra-Sevika
(The Humble Servants of God's Love). The Home cares for abandoned,
lonely, destitute elderly men and women, physically disabled girls, and
the little ones of working mothers from the slums around.

The project goal was to raise money for constructing a second story, so the
sisters can house more residents and support more destitute people.
